2.2 The conferencing Button
What is a conferencing Button
The conferencing Button will be referred to as “Button” throughout the manual.
The conferencing Button is a small USB powered wireless device that simplifies sharing and using ClickShare
to a single press of a button.
Generation 4 Button overview
A generation 4 Button is easily identified by its USB-C connector to pair with Base Unit(s) and connect with
devices.

Button functionality
Pressing the buttons can have different effects. It also allows for interaction and seamless switching between
multiple presenters.

Short press on share button Starts sharing
Long press on share button Takes over sharing
Press the menu button Brings up the ClickShare app
Button LED ring
There is an LED ring around the share button. The color or animation of this ring helps signal what the Button
is currently doing and what state it is.
