4. Lamp & Lamp House
CAUTION: Xenon comp act arc lamps are highly p ressurized. When ignited, the normal operating temperature
of the bulb increases the pressure to a level at which the bulb m a y explode if not handled in strict accordan ce
to the manufacturer’s instructions. The bulb is stable at room temperature, but may still explode if dropped or
otherwise mishandled. W hen ever the lamp house, containing a xenon lamp , has to be dism antled or when ever
the protective container or cloth has to be removed from the xenon lamp , authorized protective clothing MU ST
be worn!
Lamp s t rike policy and lamp warning/error policy v ersus the lamp runtime
• The projector issues a lamp r un time notification m essage (end have blue status LEDs) approximately 30 hours before the
maximum lamp runtime occurs.
• The projector issues a lamp run time notification message (end have blue status LED s) when the m
aximum lamp runtime
occurs.
• The projector will always try to s trike the lamp, independent of the lamp r untime.
