4.2 Supported xenon lamps f or the S/M Lamp House
Cathode adaptor
A cathode adaptor is required to mount the xenon lamp in the Lamp House. T he c athode adapter has to be mou nted o n the cathode
side of the xenon lamp prior to mounting the lamp in to the Lamp H ouse. The purpose of the cathode adapter is to position the arc
of the xenon lamp in the middle of the reflector inside the Lamp House.

All lamps and adapters in the table below must be used with the S/M Lamp House (either manual or motorized).
Note that the maximum lam p power the projector delivers depe nds on the type of projector and the installed
lamp. Prior to install the lamp it’s important to check with the Commun icator software if the lamp is listed in
the list of supported lamps for this projector.

may result in poor performance of the lamp and damage to the xenon lamp and Lamp House. Some adapters
looks the sam e, t herefore check the en graved item numb er upon the adapter to en sure you uses the right
adapter.
4.3 Removal of the Lamp House
WARNING: This procedure ma
y only be performed by qualified techn ical service personnel.
WARNING: The Lamp House is very hot after operation. To avoid burns, let the projector cool down for at
least 15 minutes be fore proceeding to remove the L amp House.
