CONTROL COLUMN LOCK PIN
1 . Rotate control wheel and move column so the hole in
the bracket and the column ~lign to accept pin.
2. Push the control column lock pin through the hole
provided in the control column hanger and into the
hole in the control column tube assembly.
3. Ensure positive retention of the lock pin by positioning
the attached red plate on top of the throttle and
propeller controls.
WARNING
Before starting engine, remove the lock re-
versing the above procedure.

Installation is the same as
earlier serials except the
control column lock pin is in-
serted from the top of the
control column. Illustration
at right shows lock in place
and is placarded on the con-
trol column lock itself.

model 10-520-8, 1O-520-BA or 10-520-88. It is a fuel-
injected, direct-drive, air-cooled, horizontally-opposed, 6-
cylinder, 520-cubic inch-displacement, 285-horsepower-
rated engine.
