TEMPERATURE
INDICATOR
(EGT)
The system consists of a
thermocouple
type
exhaust
gas
temperature
(EGT) probe
mounted
in
the
right
side of each
exhaust
system. This probe is
connected
to an
indicator
on
the
right
side of the
instrument
panel. The
indicator
is
cali-
brated in degrees
Fahrenheit.
Use EGT system to
lean
the
fuel/air
mixture
when
cruising
at
maximum
cruise
power
or
less.
