Avoid taxiing
through
water,
slush or
muddy
surfaces if
possible. In cold weather,
water,
slush or mud,
when
splashed onto landing gear
mechanisms
or control surface
hinges may freeze, preventing free
movement
and
result-
ing in
structural
damage.
