Alternator
- ON. If no
indication
on
loadmeter, turn off and leave
off.
e. Adjust electrical load.
2. If condition indicates malfunction of both alternator
circuits:
a. Both ALT switches - OFF.
b. Minimize electrical load since only battery power
will be available.
UNSCHEDULED ELECTRIC ELEVATOR TRIM
Incorporated
in the system is an emergency release button
located on the left handle grip of the pilot's control wheel.
This button can be depressed to deactivate the system
quickly in case of a malfunction in the system. The system
will remain deactivated only while the release button is
being held in the depressed position.
1. Airplane Attitude - MAINTAIN using elevator control
2. Trim Release (under pilot's thumb adjacent to control
wheel
trim
switch)

HOLD
IN
DEPRESSED
POSITION
3. Trim - MANUALLY RE-TRIM AIRPLANE
4. Electric Trim - OFF
5. Trim Release . RELEASE
6. Circuit Breaker - PULL
NOTE
Do not attempt to operate the electric trim
system until the cause of the malfunction has
been determined and corrected.
