Adjusting the Thread Tension
The tension should be set to between 2.5 - 4.5 for all embroidery. adjustments
for difficult or unusual fabrics can be made if necessary.
Threading the Bobbin Thread
For embroidery, insert the thread into the finger of the bobbin.

when using Rayon or slippery embroidery threads, slip the net over the
upper thread spool

this will feed the needle thread more evenly
Spool pin
When working with metallic or any other special threads always use
the vertical spool pin and the guide eyelet for metallic and silk thread
(optional accessory).
