Preparing the kitchen unit for
installation variant A

The floor unit must have a continuous back panel so
that the recirculated air is not directed into the front
furniture body compartment.
T
There must be a cut-out in the back panel.
T
A minimum clearance of 25 mm between the back
panel of the unit and an adjacent kitchen unit or
room wall must be kept for the return flow aperture.
T
No false floor is necessary below the cooktop.
Adjusting the back panel of the unit

Adapt the back panel according to the required
installation dimensions.
u
If necessary, move the back panel.
u
If necessary, extend the height of the back panel so
that the unit is closed to the front.

Position the template on the back panel of the unit
with the help of the markings and instructions.

Mark out the back panel cut-out.
u
Cut out the back panel cut-out with a saw.
Flush and surface mounting options must be
taken into account when positioning the
template. 125mm from top edge of the
cooktop to centre of cut-out.

A false floor must be provided for under the cooktop.

The back panel of the unit must be flush with the
false floor so that the recirculating air is not directed
into the front of the unit.
