7.3 Opening and closing the
lid
1. To open the lid, turn the cover for
the outer lid anticlockwise towards

2. To close the lid, turn the cover for
the outer lid clockwise towards

a When the lid is closed, the sym-
bols and line up.
3. Open or close the lid completely.
7.4 Setting speed

To select the required speed,
move your finger along the slider.
Notes
¡ The drive runs non-stop in con-
tinuous operation. If you reduce
the speed, the drive runs more
slowly.
¡ In interval operation drive
phases alternate with pauses. If
you reduce the speed, the
pauses become longer.
The table shows the speed per

Tips
¡ You can change the speed at any
time.
¡ If you select levels 4 to 6 with the
stirrer, food is mixed faster so that
it is heated more quickly and
evenly.
7.5 Using turbo mode
Turbo mode is available for the uni-
versal knife. The universal knife will
rotate at maximum speed for max.

mode to chop or purée food faster.
