Steaming
You can use the steaming accessor-
ies to steam food on up to 3 levels at
the same time.
Note:The "Steaming" function is
available as an automatic pro-
gramme and with the Guided Cook-
ing recipes.

Tip:You can use the steaming insert
as a sieve, e.g. for cooking pasta.
14.1 Using the steaming in-
sert
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam will escape from the appli-
ance.
▶ Do not lean over the appliance.
▶ Open the lid carefully.
▶ Only remove the steaming insert
with the spatula.
1. Open the lid completely.
2. Add liquid to the pot at least up to
the
marking.
The
marking corresponds to
800ml water.
3. Place the steaming insert in the
pot.
4. Add the food to the steaming in-
sert.
Do not fill the steaming insert bey-
ond the
marking.
5. Close and lock the lid.
Tip:You can also use the steaming
attachment to steam food on up to 3
levels at the same time. →Page112
