1. Clean the pot thoroughly.
2. Wipe down the pot with a soft,
damp cloth and then dry.
Note:If you are cleaning the pot in
the dishwasher, remove the tool
holder.
Tips
¡ You can clean the pot in the dish-
washer.
¡ You can remove light discoloura-
tion on the bottom of the pot with
water and a little vinegar.

20.9 Descaling the pot
Requirement:The first signs of
limescale are visible.
1. Take the pot out of the main unit.
2. Use a normal household descaler
in the pot according to the instruc-
tions.
3. Clean the pot with a dishwashing
brush or soft cloth.
4. Rinse the pot with plain water.
5. Dry the pot.
20.10 Cleaning the tool
holder
1. Remove the tool holder.

2. Remove the silicone sealing ring
from the tool holder.
3. Clean the silicone sealing ring with
a soft cloth under running water.
4. Clean the tool holder with a brush
under running water.
5. Dry all parts.
6. Insert the tool holder with the silic-
one sealing ring.
7. Turn the pot on its side.
8. Tighten the threaded ring with
wings as far as it will go.

Tip:You can clean the tool holder
and the silicone sealing ring in the
dishwasher.
Note:If cleaning in the dishwasher,
discolouration may occur on the tool
holder. This discolouration is harm-
less and does not impair functioning.
