(15) Take out the cartridge, remove the two screws fixing the needle, and then remove the needle.
<CAUTION>
ï‚· To prepare for ink leakage, place a waste cloth under the needle.
<TIPS>
ï‚· A protective tube is attached to a new replacement needle. Attach this tube to the removed needle to prevent ink leakage.
ï‚· The operation of Step 15 through 20 describes the replacement procedures for K but also applies to other colors.
(16) Loosen the two screws located behind the hole so as to remove the valve bracket later.
<TIPS>
ï‚· As the valve bracket is designed to be hooked on the screws, loosen the screws part of the way.
(17) Detach the fitting on the head side.
Attach a fitting (the one attached with a new tube) to the fitting-detached portion to prevent the ink from leaking.
