5) Remove the document stopper.
6) Remove the document ejection films.
NOTE: Once removed, the document ejection films will become unusable and new parts will
have to be put back in.

Separating the document cover and the ADF unit
7) Remove the two screws from the ADF unit and unhook the six latches on the ADF unit from
the document cover. Slide the document cover to the right to release it from the two tabs on the
right end of the ADF unit.
