(1) Turn the scanner cover (scanner unit) upside down.
(2) Remove the four screws from the underside of the scanner cover.
(3) Insert the tip of a flat screwdriver through the slot provided in the bottom of the scanner cover,
unlatch the retainer on the control panel ASSY, and pull up the left end of the control panel
ASSY. Take it off the scanner cover, while warping it.
(4) Remove the actuator arm from the scanner cover.
