Click Add or Reconfigure to start configuration of the additional frame(s).
If your first frame has synchronization restrictions, you will get a message similar to this:
The LAN module (type 7533, HW version less than 14.02) requires
the synchronization to be set to ‘IDA BNT’.
This will be handled in a following step of the setup.
When all frames have been configured and you return to this page for the last time, click
Up or Down to define the Master frame. Ensure that the Master frame using IDA BNT
synchronization has its ‘Int’ switch set and all other frames (slaves) are set to ‘Ext’.
If conflicting frames have been added to the configuration, you will get a message similar to
this:
The LAN module (type 7536) requires the synchronization to be set
to ‘AES/EBU’.
This conflicts
with the settings of a priorly selected frame.
Please delete one of the conflicting frames from the configura-
tion.
To resolve this conflict, delete one of the conflicting frames from the Multiple Frame Setup
page (Fig.2.23). If no frame has been deleted, it will not be possible to select a valid
synchronization method and the multi-frame front-end will not be able to measure.
Note: When deleting a Master frame, a warning comes up advising you that a Master
frame must be chosen to determine which frame provides the synchronization signals
for the sampling clock. Be sure to reassign a Master frame.
Click Next.
