2.8 Secure against restarting
Danger to life from unauthorized or uncontrolled re-starting!
Unauthorized or uncontrolled restarting of the machine can lead to
serious injury or death.
Before restarting, make sure that all safety equipment is mount-
ed and fully functional and no hazard exists for individuals.
Always comply with the procedure described below to secure the
machine against restarting.

Secure against restarting
1. Switch off the power supply. To do this, turn the main switch to
the "0" position.
2. Secure the main switch with a lock.
3. Give the key to the lock to a responsible employee for safekeep-
ing.
Restarting
1. After all work has been done, make sure that no hazard exists for
individuals.
2. Make sure that all safety and protective equipment is installed
and fully functional.
Danger to life from inadmissible restarting!
If the main switch is secured with a lock, individuals could be in the
hazard zone. If the power supply is switched on again, these
individuals could be fatally injured.
Before removing the lock and restarting the power supply, make
sure that no hazard exists for individuals.
3. Remove key from main switch.
4. Switch on the machine. To do this, turn the main switch to the "I"
position.
