7.4.7 Adjusting the downholder at the CU
The downholder is installed at the knife carriage and prevents the
mass from being lifted by the knife after being cut. Scrapers fixed at
the downholder clean the knife from product residues after cutting.

1.
Switch the machine off and secure against restarting.
2.
Lift up protective cover.
3.
Loosen cylinder head screws (1).
4.
Adjust the downholder angle (3) to a height of approx. 3 mm
(0.12 ") over the slab.
5.
Make sure that the downholder’s horizontal position is equal over
the complete working width.
