5.3 Transport inspection
The delivery must be checked immediately upon receipt for complete-
ness and transport damages. If there is any visible, external identifia-
ble transport damage, act as follows:
Do not accept the delivery or accept only under reserve.
Make note of the damage scope on the transport documents or
on the forwarder’s delivery note.
Initiate a claim.
Report any damage or defect as soon as it is detected.
Claims for damages can only be made within the validity
period.
5.4 Transport
Transport of pallets with the
forklift
Transport pieces which are mounted to pallets can be transported with
a forklift under the following conditions:
The forklift must be designed for the weight of the transport
piece.
The transport piece must be mounted securely on the pallet.

Transporting
1. Drive the forklift with the forks between or under the pallet’s
beam.
2. Drive the forks so far under the pallet that they protrude on the
opposite side.
3. Make sure that the pallet cannot tip over with an unbalanced
centre of gravity.
4. Lift the pallet with the transport piece and start the transport.
5. Separate the Masspreparation Unit from the Cutting Unit to lift the
Units from the pallet.
