2.10 Labeling
The following symbols and indication labels are placed in the working
area. They relate to the direct surroundings where they are located.

Danger of injury from illegible symbols!
Over time, labels and signs can become soiled or illegible so that
hazards are not recognized and the necessary operating directions
cannot be followed. If this occurs, there is a risk of injury.
Always keep all safety, warning and operating directions in an
easily readable condition.
Replace damaged signs or labels immediately.
The following symbols and note signs can be located in the working
area:
Only electricians are allowed to work in the working area labeled with
this sign.
Unauthorized persons must not enter the work places labeled with this
sign and must not open any cabinet to which this sign is attached.
The control cabinets are labeled with the symbol “Electrical shock
hazard”.
Turn off power before connecting or disconnecting equipment.
Do not expose to water!
The protective covers are labeled with the symbol “cutting damages”.
Never grasp underneath the protective covers during operation.
