Please be aware of the legal requirements before turning either the OFC or
the IFC on (in some countries for IFC you need to obtain consent and other
heavily restrict the use of OFC for dashcam purposes, for example).

Permanent Vehicle Transfer to Third Parties and Off-Line Mode
In case of a permanent transfer of the vehicle, i.e. if you have purchased
your vehicle used, or if the vehicle was transferred to you by another
person for permanent use, you should note that any personalisation/user
settings via the infotainment system (e.g. address list, navigation system
etc.) may be accessed by the new user.
You can also restrict your vehicle's communication with the BYD data
server and the processing of vehicle-related and personal data by setting
the vehicle to the offline mode.
Tap on PAD to turn Wi-Fi off.
Wi-Fi can also be turned off by
tapping on DiLink→ Link→
WLAN-Off.
Disclosure of Personal Data to Authorities
BYD discloses your personal data only insofar to third parties as this is
legally permissible or you have consented to it.
However, subject to the applicable laws, government agencies may be
authorised to read out data from vehicles (e.g. data can be read from the
airbag control unit to clarify an accident).
