Upgrading Legacy FlexNet Amplifiers
This chapter describes how to upgrade existing 750MHz and 870MHz FlexNet
®
trunks and bridgers
to 1002MHz Flex Max901e amplifiers. Refer to Return Switch Installation on page 7-4, for
instructions on installing return switches in an amplifier that was purchased without return switches.

Note C-COR 700, 800, and 900 series amplifiers can be upgraded to the
Flex Max901e. The Flex Max901e module can be placed in existing 700, 800, and 900
series locations without the need for respacing.
