AC Power/Car Batte
Camera can also be operated using AC power, or car battery.
When operating from AC power, use CA-100 Compact Power
Adapter and DC-100 DC Coupler.
When operating from a car battery use CB-110 Car Battery
Adapter and DC-100 DC Coupler.
CA-100 Compact Power Adapter
(Using AC power) \E
Plug into mains outlet.
Input voltage: 100—240 V AC, 50/60 HZ
• Use with the DC-100 DC Coupler.
• Refer to the CA-100 instruction manual for further details.
CB-110 Car Battery Adapter (Option)
(Using car battery) [U
Plug into cigarette lighter socket. (For use only with 12—24 V
DC, negative ground car battery.)
• Use with the DC-100 DC Coupler.
• Refer to the CB-110 instruction manual for further details.
CA-100/CB-110 Connection
Procedure 0
1. Insert DC-100 DC Coupler into power source
compartment.
•Insert and remove in the same way as the battery pack
(see page 16).
2. Connect DC-100 cable to CA-100 (or CB-110)
adapter.

3. Insert AC plug of CA-100 into mains outlet.
(Plug CB-110 into cigarette lighter socket).
• Use the CB-110 with the car engine idling.
4. Turn camera on.
Note:
• Using compact power adapter near a TV may cause TV to
emit noise. If this occurs, move compact power adapter away
from TV or aerial cable.
