Concerning the Rechargeable
Lithium Battery
This video camera has a rechargeable lithium battery to supply
power to the date and time memory and memory for other
camera settings (see p. 55). Even when the battery pack is
disconnected, the date and time function will keep on working.
The lithium battery is automatically recharged whenever a
power source is connected to the video camera. If the video
camera is used regularly, the lithium battery will remain
charged.
However, if the battery pack is removed and the video camera
is stored for a long period, the lithium battery slowly discharges
and the auto date/time function may stop operating. In this
case, recharge the lithium battery by connecting a power
source to the camera for approximately one whole day. Also
reset the date and time (see page 24).
•The lithium battery can be recharged even when the video
camera power is not turned on.
