Hitching/unhitching an implement
Hitching recommendations
CAUTION
Risk of crushing.
Death, serious injuries.
- Check that nobody is standing in the risk zone
between the tractor and the implement being
carried or towed.
- Always hitch the implements and trailersonto the
recommended hitches.
- Before any movement, for towed equipment tted
with a braking system, check that the braking
system is operational.
- Connect the hydraulic, electrical and air ttings
properly between the tractor and the carried/towed
implement.
- Comply with the maximum load capacity of the
tractor's hitches.
CAUTION
Tipping the implement.
Death or serious injuries.
- Always connect the lower connecting rods before
connecting the top link.
- Always disconnect the top link before
disconnecting the lower connecting rods.
CAUTION
Worn or damaged parts.
Death, serious injuries, material damage.
- Never perform any welding, cutting, drilling or
sanding work on hitching devices.
- Replace any worn or damaged parts.
CAUTION
Tipping the implement.
Death or serious injuries.
- In the event of an unstable implement, always
attach the upper connecting rod before the lower
connecting rods.
CAUTION
Implement not correctly locked.
Death, serious injuries, material damage.
- After each hitching operation, check that the
automatic hitches are securely locked.
