To wire a compressor safety input to the controller
• An isolation relay may be required if the RTU Open is powered separately from the equipment's control power
circuit.
• Follow device manufacturer's installation and operating instructions.
Wiring an occupancy switch or door contact

Door contact - field-supplied
Occupancy or door contact switches may be installed to provide an alternate means of occupancy determination
or heating and cooling lockout. See Sequence of Operation (page 44) for additional details.

Cable from sensor to controller: If <100 ft (30.5 meters) 22 AWG, unshielded
If >100 ft (30.5 meters) 22 AWG, shielded
Maximum length: 500 feet (152 meters)
