1.Drainthefueltankandcleanthefuellter.Replacethe
lterelementasrequired.
2.Fillthefueltankwithsuitablefuel.
3.Installthebatteriesorreconnectthecabletotheneg-
ative(-)terminal.
4.Greasethemachinethoroughly.
5.Checktheconditionofthefandrivebeltandreplaceit
ifnecessary.
6.Checktheconditionoftheairconditioningdrivebelt
andreplaceitifnecessary(ifequipped).
7.Checkthecoolingsystemlevelandaddmorecoolant
ifnecessary.
8.Checkthehydraulicuidlevel,andsupplyitasneces-
sary.
9.Checkthegearoillevelofthetravelreductiongear
andthatoftheswingreductiongear,andsupplyitas
necessary.
10.Cleanthecylinderrod.
11.Removethelidoftheaircleanerinletandthatofthe
exhaustpipe.
12.Whenstartingtheengineafterlong-termstorage(one
monthormore),youneedtocheckwhetherthetur-
bochargerhasrunoutofanoillmandmakeprepa-
rationsforstartingtheengine.Besuretoconsultour
authorizedserviceshop.Fordetailsofwork,referto
theattachedenginemanual.
13.Removethe"Donotoperate"label,andstarttheen-
ginefollowingtheenginestartingprocedure.
14.Checkalltheindicatorsandlightscarefully.
