9-ACCESSORIES
Operationwiththehydraulicauger
Thehydraulicaugerisadouble-actinghydraulicattachment,andshallbeconnectedtotherstauxiliary(2-way)
hydrauliccircuit.
Therefore,tooperatewithahydraulicaugerthemachineshallbeequippedwiththerstauxiliary(2-way)hydraulic
circuit.
Aftermakingsurereadandunderstandtheinstallation
proceduredescribedintheOperator’smanualofthe
attachmentproceedasfollows:
1.Makesurethatthemachineandtheattachmenttobe
installedareonatandlevelground.
2.Operatethecontrolsofboom,armandbucketinorder
toinstallthebitwithitsrelativecradleandpowerhead
unitdrivetothebucketlinkageatthetopofthearm.
3.Stoptheengine.Releasepressureinsidetherstaux-
iliary(1-way)hydrauliccircuitasinstructedin6-11.
4.Openthesidehoodtoaccesstothethree-wayvalve.
Useaspannertoturntheboltofthethree-wayvalve
andpositioningittothetwowayow,doubleacting
hydrauliccircuit.
Closethesidehood.
5.Closethestopvalvesatthetopofthearm.Install
theconnectinghosesbetweentheattachmentandthe
stopvalves.
NOTICE:makesuretoidentifyonthepowerheadunit
augerdrivethesupplyport(INorP)andthereturn
porttotank(OUTorT).Thehoseforpowerheadunit
augerdrivesupplyshallalwaysbeconnectedtothe
stopvalveontheleftsideofthearm.Ifthesupply
portonthepowerheadunitaugerdriveisnotaligned
tothestopvalveontheleftsideofthearm,check
foranalternativesetupofthehydraulicportsonthe
attachment.
NOTICE:alwayskeepeachconnectinghoseonthe
samesideofthearm.Nevercross-overtheconnect-
inghosesbetweenthetwosidesofthearm.
6.Openthestopvalvesandcheckthexingclampsfor
looseness,andthetubesandhosesttingsforleak-
ages.
