e. In the field Secondary physical IP address, configure the applicable IP address.
f. Click Next.
8. Click Finish.
Configuring a Secondary Cluster Member
Follow these steps on the appliance that must be configured as a secondary Cluster Member.
Procedure
1. Connect to the WebUI on the appliance.
2. From the left navigation panel, click Device.
3. In the Advanced section, click the High Availability page.
4. Click Configure Cluster.
The New Cluster Wizard opens.
5. On the page Step 1: Gateway Priority:
a. Select Configure as secondary member.
b. Click Next.
6. On the page Step 2: SIC Settings:
a. In the section Secure Internal Communication, in the field Password, enter the same
password you configured in the New Cluster Wizard on the primary Cluster Member.
b. Open the section Advanced.
c. Configure the required settings for the Sync interface.
The configuration on the secondary Cluster Member must match the configuration on the
primary Cluster Member.
d. In the section Secure Internal Communication, click Establish Trust.
e. Click Finish.
7. The secondary Cluster Member fetches the settings from the primary Cluster Member and applies
them.
Note - The scope-local route is configured automatically when you create a Single Routable IP
Cluster.
