• It is in an n+n redundant mode, because n number of power supply modules are configured as active,
and the same number, as standby.
It also meets all the n+n redundant mode conditions:
• All power supply modules configured as active are of the same type; all modules configured as
standby are of the same type.
• A mix of AC-input and DC-input power supply modules are installed and all installed AC-input
power supply modules in the chassis are of the same capacity and have the same AC-input voltage
level.
In the sample output where Type= ac, Capacity = 2100 W for all modules. The Capacity field for
the AC-input modules also reflect that voltage is at 220 VAC.
• A mix of AC-input and DC-input power supply modules are installed, and all installed DC-input
power supply modules are configured as standby.
• Power supply modules of different capacities are installed, but the higher capacity modules are
configured as standby.
• Although the setup and configuration in this example satisfy all the conditions, a full protected state is
not guaranteed.
When the system detects power supply modules of different capacities, the system
always considers and displays the operating state as normal protected.
