puter"
for
instructions

how
to
set
up
the

with
your

and

Regardless
of
which
screen
format
you
are
using,
check
to
see
that
the
40/80
key
is
in
the
desired
position.
If
it's
not,
you
may
get
no
picture
at
all
because
the
monitor
switch
may
be
set
for
the
opposite
screen.
(See
Section
5
for
a
description
of
all
the
special
keys
used
in
C128

If
you
are
using
a
MAGIC

Never

If
you
experience
difficulty
getting
a

to
power-up
in
C64
mode,
plug
in
the
cartridge
with
the
power
off;
then
hold
down
the
Commodore

and
turn
on
the
computer.
If
you
have
the
external
CP/M

marketed
for
the
Commo
dore
64,
do
not
plug

into
the

has
a
Z80
microprocessor
already
on-board
for
CP/M

If
you
do
plug
in
the
CP/M
2.2
cartridge,
it
can
cause
unpredictable
results.
If
you
are
using
software
involving
a
light
pen,
plug
the
light
pen
into
Controller
Port
1,
located
on
the
right
side
of
the
C128
near
the
power
switch.
If
you
have
the
1764
RAM
expansion
module
for
the
Commodore
64,
DO
NOT
use
it
with
the
Commodore
128.
The
