returns
the
STRing
representation
of
the
nunneric
value
of
the
argument
X.
When
the
STR$
value
is
converted
to
each
varia
ble
represented
in
the
argument,
any
number
displayed
is
preceded
and
followed
by
a
space
except
for
negative
numbers
which
are
pre
ceded
by
a minus
sign.
The
counterpart
of
the
STR$
function
is
the
VAL
function.
