4.4 Notes on operation
4.4.1 Inspections during operation
During operation the Condair EL and the humidication system have to be inspected weekly. On this
occasion check the following:
• the water and steam installation for any leakage.
• the steam humidier and the other system components for correct xing and any damage.
• the electric installation for any damage.
• the display for possible warning or fault indication.
If the inspection reveals any irregularities (e.g. leakages, fault indication) or any damaged components take
the Condair EL out of operation as described in chapter 4.5. Then, contact your Condair representative.
4.4.2 Remote operating and fault indication
Via the relays on the operating and fault indication board the following operating status are indicated:
Activated
remote indication relay
When?
"Error" An error is present, operation is stopped.
"Service" The control software has detected that the steam cylinder is spent.
The unit must be serviced according to the maintenance section in
this manuals (see chapter 6).
"Steam" Demand present/humidication
"Unit on" The humidication system is switched on and under voltage
