Reusable TEMP Probes
1 The TEMP probe should not be heated above 100 ℃ (212 ℉ ). It should only be subjected briefly
to temperatures between 80 ℃ (176 ℉ ) and 100 ℃ (212 ℉ ).
2 The probe must not be sterilized in steam.
3 Only detergents containing no alcohol can be used for disaffection.
4 The rectal probes should be used, if possible, in conjunction with a protective rubber cover.
5 To clean the probe, hold the tip with one hand and with the other hand rub bing the probe down in
the direction of the connector using a moist lint-free cloth.
