1. IPerform the Rack Position Fault/Test Proce-
dure at the end of this section.
*2. Reset the control, and start the generator set
while monitoring the PCC duty cycle display.
If the duty cycle goes high (above 50%) and the
generator set shuts down on overspeed, re-
place A32.
If the duty cycle goes to zero and the generator
set shuts down on overspeed, replace A38.
1. The fuel rack could be binding, loose,
or damaged.
2. The governor output module (A38) or
the digital board (A32) could be bad.
*CAUTION: Wearing a wrist strap, set S12 to Off and A32 S5 to Standby before connecting/disconnecting harness plugs.
