the indicator is lit and stops flashing if print temperature is more than 329 ℉. The main power of
the printer must be switched off to protect the heater from overheating if the indicator is lit.
i. Trial print:
- By pressing test button on the printer, the cylinder of the brass type holder will perform a
backward and forward stroke and then the data is printed onto the label.
- If the stamped numbers are too thick to read, try decreasing slightly both the print time from the
machine control panel and the temperature heat temp from the printer.
- If the stamped numbers are too faint to read, try increasing slightly both the print time from the
machine control panel and the temperature heat temp from the printer.
- Label material should be considered for making adjustments to achieve better results.
- If a temporary stop is too long, the first stamping after re-starting labeling might get a worse quality.
This is because the foil tape is over heated. Decreasing slightly the temperature is able to solve
this problem.
j. Foil feeding adjustments: Use foil advance adjustment knob to set the foil advancing pace as short
as possible.
- If the foil ribbon becomes loose, adjust control knob and ribbon brake to tighten it.
- Adjust control knob if the ribbon advancing paces are inconsistent.
