20/40 MHz Co-
Exist (2.4GHz) :
Enable or disable the existence of both 20 MHz and 40 MHz channel
width. Keep it enabled to achieve the maximum operability of wireless
products using dierent standards in your environment. However,
it might prevent your 802.11n devices from reaching the maximum
performance.
5 GHz 802.11
Mode:
Select the desired wireless networking standard(s) to use. The
available options are 11A Only, Mixed 11A/N, Mixed 11AC/N/A,
and Mixed11AC/N.
5 GHz Channel
Width:
Channel Width is available if you selected Mixed 11A/N, Mixed
11AC/N/A, and Mixed 11AC/N. Select the desired channel width.
The available options are 20 MHz, 20/40 MHz, or 20/40/80 MHz.
Using wider channel width can increase bandwidth, so if you have
802.11n and 802.11ac devices, choose 20/40/80 MHz. However,
in a congested environment, the highest channel width is usually
not recommended since it leads to higher probability of clashing
channels. Depending on the selected 5 GHz 802.11 Mode, some
options may be unavailable.
Short Guard
Interval :
This option is available for 11N and 11AC wireless standard. This
increases data rate by lowering the guard interval to 400 ns. The
default is enabled.
Channel: Select the desired channel for your wireless network to use. The
default is Auto (recommended).
Preamble Type: This denes the length of the CRC block for communication between
the wireless router and the devices. Ensure that all your wireless
devices use the same type. Select Enabled to set it to short and
Disabled to set it to long.
