Save/Restore Settings
It is a good idea to store a back up copy of the conguration settings le on the hard drive of the system used to administer the Router. Use this menu to save a
settings le, load a settings le or restore the device to factory default settings.
To save the current conguration settings to your computer, click the Save/Restore
Settings button in the Maintenance directory to display the System Settings menu.
Click the Save button to Save Settings to Local Hard Drive. You will be prompted
to select a location on your computer to put the le.
To load a previously saved conguration le, click the Browse button and locate the
le on your computer. Click the Update Settings button to Load Settings From
Local Hard Drive. Conrm that you want to load the le when prompted and the
process is completed automatically. The Router will reboot and begin operating
with the conguration settings that have just been loaded.
To reset the Router to its factory default settings, click the Restore Device button.
You will be prompted to conrm your decision to reset the Router. The Router will
reboot with the factory default settings including IP address (192.168.1.1) with
DHCP enabled and default administrator password (admin)
