config dscp_mapping
Used to map
the DSCP value in the IP header of incoming packet
to one of the four hardware queues available on the Switch.
Purpose
config d
scp_mapping dscp_value <value 0-63> [class <class_id 0-
3>]
Syntax
This
command is used to configure DSCP mapping to traffic class.
Description
Parameters
<value 0-63> The DSCP value of the incoming packet you want
to associate with the class ID.
<class_id 0-3> The number of the Switch’s hardware priority
queue. The Switch has four hardware priority queues available.
They are numbered between 0 (the lowest priority) and 3 (the
highest priority).
Only Administrator-level users
can issue this command.
Restrictions
Example usage:
To configure DSCP map to traffic class:
DES-3200-28:4#config dscp_mapping dscp_value 8 class 1
Command: config dscp_mapping dscp_value 8 class 1
Success.
DES-3200-28:4#
