<int 1-500>} (1)
Syntax
This
command is used to monitor MAC addresses learned and
entered into the FDB.
Description
Parameters
interval <int 1-2147483647> The time in seconds between
notifications. The user may choose an interval between 1 and
2147483647 seconds.
historysize <1-500> The maximum number of entries listed in the
history log used for notification.
Only Administrator-level users
can issue this command.
Restrictions
Example usage:
To configure the Switch’s MAC address table notification global settings:
DES-3200-28:4#config mac_notification interval 1 historysize 500
Command: config mac_notification interval 1 historysize 500
Success.

Purpose

c_notification ports [<portlist> | all] [enable | disable]
Syntax
This
command is used to monitor MAC addresses learned and entered
into the FDB.
Description
Parameters
<portlist> Specifies a port or range of ports to be configured.
all – Entering this command will set all ports on the system.
[enable | disable] – These commands will enable or disable MAC
address table notification on the Switch.
Only Administrator-level users
can issue this command.
