Enabling the switching of the operation
mode between cooling and heating
[About Cooling/Heating Privilege]
If two or more air conditioners (groups) with ON remote
controllers are connected to an outdoor unit whose
operation mode such as cooling, heating and ventila-
tion can be set from an ON remote controller or the
Central Remote Controllers, it is necessary to set the
operation mode selection privilege to one of those air
conditioners (groups).
[Operating Procedure]
1. While the ALL screen or INDIVIDUALLY screen is
displayed, press one of the individual group selec-
tion buttons (1) (1 - 16) and select an air condition
without the “MASTER CONTROLLED” indication
(2).
2. Hold the MODE button (3) pressed for more than
4 seconds.

The “MASTER CONTROLLED” indication (2) blinks.
4. The “MASTER CONTROLLED” indication (2)
blinks for all air conditioners (groups) that are con-
nected to the outdoor unit to which the selected air
conditioner (group) is connected.
* When the system is turned On for the first time,
the “MASTER CONTROLLED” indication (2)
blinks for all air conditioners (groups).
5. Using one of the individual group selection buttons
(1) (1 - 16), select an air conditioner (group) to
which the selection privilege is to be set. Then,
press the MODE button (3).
The operation mode selection privilege is set, and
the “MASTER CONTROLLED” indication (2) turns
Off.
For other air conditioners (groups), the “MASTER
CONTROLLED” indication (2) lights.
NOTE
Operate buttons while the backlights are lit.
[Screen Display]
