Tear Position
Invalid, Detect, Record
This printer saves the tear-off position
before switched off. After switched on, the
printer if any change in the tear-off position
and determines the start printing position.
Invalid: Printing starts from previously
switched off position.
Detect: If the tear-off position is unchanged
or smaller, printing starts from TOF
position. If larger, printing starts from
previously switched off position.
Record: If the tear-off position is
unchanged, printing starts from TOF
position. If changed, printing starts from
previously switched off position.
APW
(Auto Paper
Width detection)
No, Yes
Yes: Measures the width of the paper
automatically after loading the paper.
No: Disables page width measurement.
NOTE:
Every ex-factory printer equips with a page
width sensor. “APW” appears in this
sub-menu.
When the sensor is defective, “APW”
disappears from the menu; the 【Power】
LED is off and the【Front Exit】LED blinks,
both the【Speed】and【Online】LEDs light
up.
APS
(Auto Page Skew
detection)
Invalid, Normal, Precise
Invalid: The printer will never detect
skewness.
Normal: The printer ejects skewed page.
Precise: The printer ejects the page even
with low degree of skewness.
NOTE:
This sensor is an option. Both APS and
BlackMark disappear from this menu if the
sensor is not installed or defective.
