Replacing the Battery Pack

Before proceeding, read “Battery Safety” on the preceding pages. Datal

recommends annual replacement of rechargeable battery packs to ensure
maximum performance.
Use the following procedure to change the reader’s battery:
1. With a narrow metallic object (i.e. a coin) or a screwdriver, unscrew the

ttery cover screw.
