d. In response to the sequence character from the PC, ES601Plus initiates the test and
within one second or less returns a message specifying the safety standard of the
selected sequence, for example:
STD, IEC60601\r
e. After this step, the user may operate ES601Plus via the touch screen in the
conventional manner, responding to prompts displayed by ES601Plus as described
in Chapter 5. As each measurement of the sequence is completed, ES601Plus
transmits the measurement data to the PC as either one or two lines of CSV text,
each line being terminated by carriage return \r. Refer to Section 7.4.4 following for
description of the measurement data format.
f. Upon conclusion of the sequence, ES601Plus sends:
END\r\f
to the PC. PC software may detect this message, or simply the form feed \f, to
identify end-of-protocol.
g. Optionally, the user may choose to abort the sequence in progress by pressing the
ESCAPE key which appears on the ES601Plus touch screen. In this event, the
protocol is terminated and ES601Plus sends:
ESC\r\f
to the PC.
7.4.3 Test Report Download
Upon conclusion of the test protocol described in the preceding section, user software may
optionally send a "report download" command:
