Front IO board
The front IO board features multiple expansion slots and storage options:
• Two M.2 ports
• eSATA port
• Internal USB port 2.0
• VGA port
• Smart Card Reader
Removing the front IO board
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3 Remove the cooling fan.
4 If applicable, remove the card from the card reader.
Steps
1 Disconnect the cables connected to the IO board.
2 Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the I/O board to the chassis.
3 Gently lift the I/O board and then slide the board toward the rear of the system until the connectors are clear of the slots on the front
of the system.
