Transfer parts from the faulted SP assembly to the replacement SP assembly
Transfer the following components from the faulted SP assembly to the
corresponding locations in the replacement SP assembly.
To help ensure the correct placement in the enclosure, transfer only one component
at a time.
l
Transfer the power supply
l
Transfer the I/O module and fillers
l
Transfer the embedded module
l
Transfer the internal M.2 boot module
l
Transfer DIMMs
l
Transfer internal fans
l
Transfer the internal battery backup module
Remove the internal battery backup module
Procedure
1. Remove the internal battery backup module cover.
2. Disconnect the internal battery backup module cable from the motherboard by
squeezing the white tab and lifting upward.
3. Push down on the two blue retaining tabs. At the same time, pull up on the blue
pull tab.
