4-1.4 — Calibration Menu
The
Calibration main menu
allows the user to calibrate the E7000L SitePROFILER when either a “Y” OSL CAL
or eCAL device is connected to the instrument. You can also view or set calibration options here.
Calibration Menu
Start Cal:
Initiates the calibration process. See Chapter 3 for more information on this procedure
and compatible calibration devices.
Cal Method:
Tap to toggle between calibration methods, dependent on the connected device.
Cal Type:
Tap to toggle between Full Span and Standard calibration. See Section 3-2.
Cal Correct:
Tap to toggle the Calibration Correct function
On/Off
. Calibrate your instrument, then
toggle this function Off to view your measurement without the calibration’s adjustments. Even when
Off, the calibration will remain valid; toggle On to re-apply it.
Cal Info
: Opens the Calibration Info screen. This screen displays the current instrument settings
and active calibration details.
E-CAL Type:
Toggles the E-CAL type.

If it is connected via the RF Out and E-CAL/Power Meter ports, choose
B-IN
.

If the E-CAL device is connected via the instrument’s RF Out and USB ports, choose
B-OUT
.
This option only appears when Cal Method (above) is set to E-CAL.
