Closing a session
To close a
telnet
session or an
rlogin
session, you can:
Log out of the remote system, which causes the remote system to close the
session.
Escape to the command line and type the
close
command.
You may also close
rlogin
sessions using the
rlogin
escape sequence:
Carriage Return ~ . (Carriage Return tilde period).
