To edit a custom method (for example, method 1):
1. Press MENU to display the MENU screen.
PURGE TIME
Amount of time the cell is purged with
nitrogen. Dionex recommends the following
settings:
• 40 to 80 seconds for a 1-mL, 5-mL,
10-mL, or 22-mL cell
• 70 to 110 seconds for a 34-mL cell
• 160 to 200 seconds for a 66-mL cell
• 250 to 290 seconds for a 100-mL cell
20 to 900 sec
(default = 100)
STATIC CYCLE
Number of times the static heating and rinsing
steps are performed. When more than one
cycle is specified, the rinse volume is divided
among the cycles.
1 to 5
(default = 1)
CELL TYPE
Specifies the type of cell used. SST (stainless
steel) (default)
Zr (zirconium)
