bulb

In
order
to
replace
the
parking
light
bulb
take
out
the
socket
with
the
bulb
and
take
out
the
bul,b
from
the
socket.
When
rep
lacing
a
burn
t-Gut bulib
in
the
pilot
lamps
(tl1LI.20E
and
DLI.29Ll.),
take
the
lamp
o
ut
of
the
pan
el
and
detach
the
bulb
from
the
socket.
When
replacing
a broken
diffuser
or
repairing
the
h
ea
dl
amp,
it
is
necessary
to
clean
the
reflector by blowi
ng
it
round
and
caref
ully
wiping
with
a
clean
flannel
cloth
or soft
brush.
The
diffuser
with
the
reflector
may
be
disassembled
o
nly
in
exceptional cases,
since
fre-
quently
performed disma
ntling
may
cause
damage
to
the
reflector.
When
assembling
the
diffuser
take
care
to
ensure
its co
rr
ect in
stal
-
l
atio
n.
In
case
the
sou
nd
of
the
horn
deteriorat
es,
the
latter
should
be
a
djusted
by
turning
the
adjusting
.

one

the

Ever
y 1000 km, it is
necessary
to
check:
the
condition
of
the
working
surface
of the
co
ntact
bre
ake
r
points
and
the
gap
be
twee
n
them
(if
the
bre
aker contacts (poin
ts
)
are
worn
or
burnt,
remove
the
movi
ng
contact
and
fixed contact, cle
an
the con-
tacts
with
a
ne
edle file a
nd
wash
them
with
petrol).
Every
5000
km
run
check
the
following:
the
spark
g
ap
of
the
plug
s
(the
gap
should
be
equal
to
0.5-
0.6
mm);
if
req
uir
e
d,
cl
ean
the
p.
lugs
to
remove
the
ca
rbon d.eposit;
the
wi
res
f
or
rel
ia
ible co
nne
ction
;
the
bul
bs
in
the
lamps
for
proper
fitting
and
working
condition;
if
necessary,
clean
off
dust
f·rom
the
headlamp
reflector
and
wipe
the
glass
of
the
lamps.
Wipe
the
storag-e b
attery
to
re
move
dust
and
dirt, clean
out
the
ho
l
es
in
the
p
lu
gs,
clean
o
ff
oxides
from
the
b
attery
termina
ls
and
coat
the
latter
with
tec
hni
cal
petroleum
jel ly, check
the
level of ele-
ctro
lyte
and
verify
the
electr.
olyte
density
with
a
battery
densimeter.
In
summ
er,
when
irt
is hot, check
the
electrolyte density
eve
ry 5
to 6 days,
during
other
seasons
,
eve
ry 10 to
15
days.
The
level of
the
electrol
yte
in
the
battery
mu
st be
10
to
12
mm
above
the
protective
shie
l'd.
If
the
'level of
the
el
ectro
ly
te
is be
low
the
s·pecified
limits,
add
distilled
wate
r
(water
evapo
r
ates
during
usage
of the b
attery).
Ele-
ctrolyte
is to
be
ad
ded only
wh<!n
it
is
exactly
known
that
it
has
been
spilt.
Checking
of
the
electrol
yte
density
makes
it possible
to
determi-
ne
the
state
of
charge
of
the
battery
and,
consequently,
its
working
condition.
Particular
atte
ntion
sho
uld
be
give
n to the
electrolyte
den-
sity
in
winter.
A d
ischarged
battery
may
get
f·rozen.
Th
e
storage
b
at
tery
may
be
utilized
when
discharged
by
not
m
ore
tha
n 25
per
cent
in
winter
time,
and
by not more
than
50
per
cent
in
summer
time.
